Lee Allsup
With a career in vocational education and assessment management spanning over three decades, I have had the pleasure of working with and helping to develop many teams to improve and grow.
I was instrumentally involved in opening a new vocational department within an inner-city FE College and achieving a Grade 1 Ofsted grade within 18 months of opening and maintaining that outstanding grade for my fifteen-year tenure as Head of Department.
I have also worked with several awarding organisations over the last thirty years, supporting the national educational landscape, including T levels, 14-19 diplomas, a variety of level 2 and level 3 programmes, Kick start and regional LSIPs.
I am a former member of the IFATE route panel for hospitality and a present member of the Chef Guild education committee.
I was the Co-founder and previous director of an EPAO organisation, with overall responsibility for the quality and validity of the assessment process.
I am a former Principal of Xiamen International 6th form College China, where I learned more about education across cultures and was able to transfer knowledge and practice from the UK to assist with development overseas.
I have used my knowledge from studying a Master’s module in reliability and the quality of assessment to enhance my extensive experience and knowledge in the training and assessment landscape within HE and FE organisations with a deep understanding of the apprenticeship process and systems with an eye for quality and progression.
