Cancellation Policy
Purpose and Aim
This policy outlines the actions to be taken when a scheduled assessment with Apprent Assess is cancelled or
not attended. It is intended to ensure a consistent approach for all parties involved—apprentice, employer, and
Apprent Assess (EPAO)—when an end-point assessment (EPA) is either cancelled or not attended.

Policy
If a scheduled assessment component is cancelled or not attended, associated costs will be incurred and
payable to those affected. These costs cover time, expenses, and potential loss of earnings.
This policy addresses common scenarios where assessments do not proceed as planned, including:
- Cancellations (with notice)
- Late Cancellations
- Non-Attendance
